My truck wants to go sideway on the 1-2 shift. Is it the 4.10's or the chip or my lack of tred. It was cool at first now its geting a little scarry. This cost me a race last night to a 99 cobra. But I got even at the next light, a little less right foot.

 

Sounds like a combo of all of the above. Throw a shift kit in there and you will be really surprised.

wait till your OEM front clutches take a $h*t, then you won't have to worry about the 1-2 shift, much less go sideways.

Will changing my tranie fluid prevent this? If not can can they be replaced under warrenty?

 

Whether they can be replaced under warrantee depends to some extent on whether your dealer will work with you, or will deny based on your mods. Whether you should replace under warrantee is a separate issue. If you do, the clutches will just fail again after you hammer it for a while.
