I went with Lotek. I paid around $50 and it was already painted. The paint color was not "exact" but very close. With the gauges in the pod you really don't notice the difference. The fit was good also. Just a tad high (maybe 1/8") where the pod connects to the dash towards the windshield, but not a big deal. Three screws hold it on so you only have to drill three small holes. Mounting instructions were good. Hope this helps.

My only complaint with a Tri is the BAD blind spot making left turns. And if you have dark tinted windows you basically have "0" night site on left turns.
Dont know what brand I had in the 99 but the fit was great...

I personally would not use one again, although I do miss the Wide Band set up....

Cool

HI!... I run the LO-TEK triple gauge pod. It actually replaces the factory "A" pillar. The AUTO METER one fits over top of the factory "A" pillar. I have no "BLIND SPOT" issues with mine at all. 1st time I've heard that. Here's a pic of my set-up.

Thumbs up

Good info and pics Neal. I never even considered the Autometer, didn't know it just went over the pillar. I guess I got lucky with choosing the Lotek. By the way, I don't notice any blind spots either. Does anyone have pics of the Autometer so we can compare for Hawaiisvt03. I would also like to see the differences of the units as installed.

i have a full sweep electrical gauge,

you dont want to run a mechanical one where u would have to run a fuel line to it thats a disaster waiting to happen heh
