The I/C leak and the chip are in no way related. Get a chip from a tuner who uses Autologic software spposed to be the most compatable with the ford computer and lets the tuner adjust more paramaters. I also didn't want to run a chip untill I found out my used lightning had allready been chiped.

DUDE, the pulley AND then chip. Don't chip it then grap a pulley as then your tuning will be all shot to hell. You have enough funds for this, nearly. You want to by dyno tuned by an Autologic dealer or capable Superchip dealer. Don't buy a chip w/out getting a proper tune.

BUT, if you absolutely don't want to do a pulley for fear it may overspin your blower (more R&D needs to be done...amazing after 3 years you'd think there was) then just go w/ the chip.

The chip can't legally void your warranty, but trust me they'll do it if they're not mod friendly. What you do (as stated here 50 million times) is pull the chip, and pull your negative cable on your battery to reset your puter (there is a more extensive way of resetting the computer, btw, but it's not needed).

I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but if you don't want problems with the engine or warranty leave the truck the way it is. Put the money in a savings account or something.

I GOT IT! Replace all of your current lighting with new model (01) Lightning lighting heads, corners, tails, etc... Won't void anything and won't overspin a damn thing either.

The last three posts seem to go with what I am thinking.

Bfb - Understand completely, and agree. If I did anything, it will be chip.

DennisG - True

Zeroxman - I think that's what I am going to do. I am going to spend all my money on Corners, more Zaino or Wet Cherry, and save up for a new set of tires that are going to be needed within six months.

Interesting. Thanks for the hood ornament suggestions, whatever they are supposed to mean.
So right now I am narrowed down to a single blade throttle body and a chip.
