Post Kicker solo baric

I think I seen somebody say something about these in here. I'm thinking of getting these. Would like to get 12" but I don't want to move the seat forward anymore than I have to. I already have it moved forward so I could tilt the seat back a little. Since I am approx. 6' tall I'd like as much room as possible.

Going to add headers.

Future mods: Supercharger, headers, NOS, tranny upgrade(heavy duty gears, clutch packs, etc.), performance torque converter, bore engine 30 over, new pistons, crank, and rods, performance heads, new L if they still make them and I like the way it looks, and a Z06 Vette or BMW Z3.

The Kicker Solo-baric's are good speakers. I am not for sure what cubic foot requiremtns Kicker says you shoul meet but I do know that they are ment for sealed enclosures, they have sensitivty db of 89, max watt of 750, and list for $399. If I may make another suggestion here, I have looked at and plan on buying a speaker by Audiobahn Inc. They make what looks and sounds like (heard them at a 4x4 shop close to home) a good speaker. For instance they have one they call the Ultra excursion for $369, dual voice coils at 2 omhs, 1000 watts RMS, selaed or ported box, sens. db of 92.9. Well you get the idea if you like what you hear check them out at http://www.audiobahninc.com, I like them but that is just my opinion

Talk with Clontek. He has 2 12inch square Solobaric's behind his seat. He should know the necessary air requirements and all that. You may want to search for topics that he posted, the one's you are looking for should have "stereo" in them or something.

I believe the 10's require .60 cf. for over 350 watts and .66 cf. under 350 watts. The 12's require .80 cf. for over 600 watts and .88 cf. under 600 watts. Just going by memory but this is close I'm sure.

box is still .88 cu ft, just moved the holes further apart..
i didnt write the size down, so i'd have to measure it to be sure.
i wont get my truck back (bodywork) till the end of the week or the first of next week. so maybe i'll remember to measure.

Audiobahn makes great stuff, tried just about everything they make. I now use the Audiobahn A18001D amp with 2 Kicker 15L7's. This is twice now that I have gone back to the L series Kickers. I just personally like them the best out of all the subs I have tried, including the AB line. I like them in sealed enclosures and you'll get great SQ with plenty of SPL. If you are looking for SPL, they Kick some awesome *** in ported enclosures. I've done alot of 8inL7's in custom sealed enclosures and they were loved. Don't get me wrong you can get basically any sub to pump, but I just favor the L7's.

Also think about getting a Bass Driver, you'll really enjoy the adjustablity. Plus it won't kill the wallet.......
