Post Aftermarket Temp Gauge

I want to install one in my 00 L. Does anyone know where it hooks to the engine? I looked and could not find it anywhere. Thanks

I installed an Autometer Mechanical Water Temp gauge in a 2000 Lightning....you have to cut into the heater core hose...They will be the two hoses coming out of the firewall on the passenger side. You'll see them because each will have a small metal sleeve where they go through the firewall. You want to cut the one nearest the driver side for an accurate temp reading. Be sure to have the correct size barbs and fittings before you go cutting into it.
