Post This was weird

Driving along today and start hearing this faint rattling noise coming from my roof. Im on the express way and the faster and longer I drive the louder it is starting to sound. I slow down to around 70 and its real loud. I thought it was my wiring harness from my overhead rattling around between the headliner and roof. After i got to my destination I start looking around and discover that the rubber windshield seal at the top is flapping around in the beeze.
I dont want to take it to the dealer for this easy fix. But was wondering if anyone new what type of caulk or apoxy I can use to seal this back in place. The manufacture obviously forgot to.
Also did this happen to anybody else?

Take it to the dealer! You did not pay this much money for floppy window seals. It may result in a leak or something worse so I would not even mess with it.

Welll this happened to me too and i think it happen to other Lightning owners too. I think they all happened after doing 100+mph runs. For me it was 137mph.

It happened to me at normal speeds when I had my L. Take it to the dealer - a special adhesive is used that is not something that other than glass shops deal with. I was going to do it myself until I researched it. It was done very quickly at the dealer by a mobile windshield company.

Looks like im dealer bound. I'll just have to baby sit it untill its fixed. I have this feeling they like to test drive my truck after they do anything to it.

Man thanks Roger
I take it you must work for Ford. I'm going to setup an appointment with my dealer a.s.a.p. I dont need to be trying to hold my windshield in at 100+ mph. Probably the only thing that saved my butt yesterday was my windows were closed so no air could get around and push on that glass from the inside. Kinda gives me the creeps now.
Thanks again.
