Steering Stops
FYI, when you pick up your new truck. They do not come with grease on the steering stops. The factory left it for you to do

They are the round metal blocks (about 3/4 in dia.) that come in contact with the backside of the spindle. You will see a slight indentation on the spindle where the stop meets it. Smear this indentation with about 1/4 in of grease.
One word::: Never-seize

raised frontend at crossmember-turned wheel to one side-located "stop" on lower control arm-covered it with c/v grease left over from saab 9000 turbo. repeated for other side. don't need to get under truck-can reach the stop from rear of tire. dan
