Post Sagging tips

2000 L, had it 5 months, got around 7K on the ticker. The exhaust tips are sinking lower and lower, hanging away from the cut-out. Anybody else got this problem?

Mad,
You can go underneath the truck and adjust the brackets to raise the tips. I have even had to do it on my 01. Just bend the bracket to get the desired height. Just make sure the tips don't get to close to the ground effects or it will start melting them.

Mine hang a little low, too. I'll get under there tonight to see what can be done. They are definitely not loose, just down a little.

There are a couple hangers under there that support the muffler. You might be able to raise them enough by just loosening the bolt and hold everything up while tightening them back up. If not, I bent the brackets a little to get the desired height I wanted.

felonious -

It was a real question, but I thought the topic would bring some humor as well.

You need more support. Try a wire.

Cool

It set my buddy back a cool $5K to get his wife's fixed. I should have told him to use a hanger.....

or the bird-dog bra. It makes pointers out of setters.
