I'm taking a bunch of flack from my buddies about whether or not the 2001's will perform power brake burnouts.

HEHE you should see my rear tires from 3 trips to the track, Belive me the 2001's can and do great burnouts. About 1/4 of my tread is gone. I need me some of them MT ET Slicks.

Snake - no offense, but do your buddies normally function off of a collective IQ? Can this truck power brake? My 4.6 F-150 would power brake.

On the other side of the coin, I wish mine was an '01 so I could go do one for a reason other than to just feed the burn-out monkey on my back.

I have a picture of a 2001 L "smokin" the tire as wallpaper. I found the picture at one of the SVT sites. I believe it was a ford site when the 2001s can out.
There may be a way to find the web site from the picture but I do not know how to do that.

I was in Marietta for a year back in '97.
You may have seen me in a white 96 Cobra cruising out of Buckhead on Peachtree with my naked girlfreind in the car @ 2:30 A.M. on Friday nights.
Damn girl, she'd get drunk at the clubs and then strip all her clothes off in the car on the way home.
Love those southern gals.

 

My girl seems to have that same problem. Its what i call a positive problem.

My 95 v6 3.4 liter Camaro daily driver will do a powerbrake burnout.

It'd probably beat my 01 L, come to think of it.
