Question Fastest L in San Antonio TX area?

I was just wondering what the fastest ET is so far for an L in the central/south texas area. I took my stock 01 out to test and tune last wed. and all i could get was a 14.1. My main concern is can i still achieve my low to mid 12 ET dream with our weather without using the bottle.

Thanks!

All it takes is MONEY.

If you're not willing to spend the big bucks, then the answer is NO.

Skennett,

I run 12.90's on the motor and just pulled an 11.97 on the gas this past Friday. That was on a 100hp shot. Runs great

You took a second off of your time with a 100 shot?

skennet,
which track are you running at,River City or Alamo.I have'nt run at River City yet but when I ran at Alamo there was about .3-.5 sec. between the 2 lanes! And with a stick it was hell not to keep from red lighting in the left lane, the ruts where down hill!

As for making ET you need to stage as shallow as possible, just barely turn on the stage light. This will give you the longest "run"to the starting line.On the other hand if you go in "deep"you may loose up to .2 sec in ET.

the weather that day was bad. I was there when you did the 14.1 and I was running consistent 13.6s. I normally run 13.3 at RCR with just a chippenfilter.

Assuming your 01 is capable of 13.8 stock, I think you can hit 12s with

slicks
chip (race program w/ race gas)
filter

what else would he need?

Alamo is an off road course compared to River City. You have got to come out with us to River City sometime. Its like night and day from what i have been told.
