I emailed PSP today about a 4 way chip for the 01's. Anybody bought one yet? Do you have to disconnect power to switch modes? I only want to buy one chip for this truck and have it work. No stuuder shifts or starting probslems etc. . I heard the 01' programs are still being tuned as of now. Thanks for the input guys.

I do believe Sal (PSP) does have an 01 4-way chip out. The 4-way in my 00 is a flip on the fly. I would assume the 01 would be the same. I am very satisfied with my setup. Not a single problem and no ping at all.

Yeah, from what I hear about the problems in using all cylinders on the 1-2 shift, I'd like to be able to select between normal and street racing modes, where the normal's just the factory settings.

The 2500 RPM limited valet mode would be cool, too.

 

My programs are:
Stock
Street Performance (13.16 @104)
Race 28" tires (not tried it yet)
Valet (2500 rpm no boost)

Very happy with my choice.

Is valet realy 2500 rpm? That sounds way low. Mine is about 4200 and is plenty slow. A 2500 rpm shift puts the next gear at about 1800 rpm.

I have a PSP 4-Position chip for my 01. Works great, 13.2 @ 103mph best with 600 miles on truck.

I have used the PSP 4-way chip for over a year, now.
I used to use the 3500 rpm valet mode to do my burn-outs at the track.
Now I just use the 1-2 shift.
The thing I like the most is you can change from stock mode to street,race,nitrous or whatever on the fly.
Great product.
Only one like it.
