Talking

Well my sig says Houston but actually I live west of Houston about 25 miles in a little town called Brookshire, but who ever heard of that. The really great news is its only 15 minutes from my local dragstrip that I race at Lonestar Raceway. It's a 1/8 strip but close and the people that run it are all family and they are really great. I love to race there. Oh, I do have two protection systems, Colt and Smith and Wesson.

My Lightning is a truck. I've hauled thousands of feet of lumber. I also kept my trailer hitch on when I raced it a Laguna Seca. I hope to have a bumper sticker for the next road race that reads, "This is what it looks like when I'm towing you."

DO: Wave, flash high-beams, nod & smile, etc at passing Lightnings. Do not stare straight ahead or stick your nose up in the air. If you own a Lightning you are part of a club and you are obligated to acknowledge other members.
You're correct. Furthermore, I've given the "thumbs up" to Lighting owners while in rental cars and/or my wife's car. She has also. None have ever acknowledged the frequent gawkers who just want to let you know that "you're driving an awesome car." Give them a thrill and blip the throttle.

Cool

You peaple are killin me, I havent laughed this hard in a while. (since I was reading this forum yesterday). Now for my .02

I think it should be a SuperChicken/Bulldog tee shirt. You all remember SuperChicken don't you?

My truck also sits outside, last year it made it through a neighbor hood bottle rocket fight without a scratch (4th of July) so I consider it indestructable now.

I'm gonna have to take exception to the Jack In The Box head on the antenna. I don't have one on now but every Christmas I put the Christmas Jack head on the antenna. It's a must.
As for waving to other L owners, almost every time I pass an L I give a thumbs up and only once have I not got the same back in return. Of all the places I thought such a thing would not happen I never immagined it would be that way here, but it's all positive so far.

That's it.

I HAVE to have one of those JITB ball things for my antenna.

Or, better yet, one of those old neon ones that the truckers used to put on CB antennas; they would glow whenever they xmitted with those illegal kW rigs...

Hmm.

Never mind, all I've got nearby is The Varsity, and I don't think an onion ring would stay on my (L bent) antenna very long...

Mine stays inside.
It is a truck, I haul things around in it.
I was wondering about the wave part too. Whenever I see another L I pull over, run em down whatever and talk to them. I have passed a few on the hightway and they don't even look. I think it comes form the fact that many of these people have not discovered F150Online yet.
Oh yeah, SVT, type R or any other badges that identify a vehicle as something it isn't is RICE to the MAX

CA -

I have always had a thing for the name Kerri, and the Anne just got added as I searched for something that sounded good together. I like the ring Kerri Anne Lightning has to it. That and I see my first daughter carrying the name Kerri Anne.

Kerri Ann was a song about MaryAnn Faithful, but the name was changed, probably on the advise of a divorce atty or something
