My 99 Lightning is beeping at random times and I can't figure out why. It is while driving and it is kind of like the door ajar chime, but not.

I did a search and I hear that F150's will do that when the passenger air bag light is burned out, but mine is not burned out. It does not light when I start the truck up, but it will light when I turn the pass air bag to "off".

Anyone else had this noise??

 

are you wearing your seatbelt? there is an alarm for that and a way to shut if off. search seat belt chime i think should get you the results.

 

Seatbelt is always on, also, I think the 99's don't do the seatbelt beep.
