What dealer do u guys use for service?

who do i stay away from.

I think i have the leaky intercooler so i need to get it fixed, who do u guys reccomend.

 

Oakfeild ford has always done good by me,Wayne is one of the SVT techs he has done good work for me in the past, Mike is the Service manager I deal with, if he doesn't know he will take the time to find out about it. Good people

I grew up at oak park and north.

How do u like the shift kit?

 

I'm a south side boy near oak park and roosevelt.
I think the shift kit is great, firms up shifts the way they should be from factory.
Highly recomend it!

Al Piemonte in Melrose park was great to me. Don't go to Jacobs, Formerly Forest. They suck! They couldn't even diagnose a bad coil... Went to Al Piemonte (non SVT) truck was fixed in about 40 minutes, while I had a steak sandwich in thier restaurant. I'll definately go back next time. They're at 25th av. & north in Melrose Park. Damn that sucks Jason. I always used River Oaks Ford in Calumet City but that is a hall for you. They have done work for me before and I specify which mechanic I want to work on it. When I had it in to replace the PS pump I told him I took the chip out just in case and he said I should have left it in...he didn't care. The best thing to do is have a dye test done. That will show if any antifreeze is blowing through.You also might want to wait until you get the ESP because with that you will get a loaner. Good luck. Jeff

Elmhurst Ford(non-svt) but the best service by far... Used Oakfield but didn't like the service manager's attitude...Also went to school with Wayne and he's a great tech. but the service manager ruined it for me...

Another vote for River Oaks Ford in Calumet City if you're willing to make the haul. I've only had my truck 2 weeks but have been happy with the dealership the little bit I have dealt with them.

I wouldn't recommend Arlington Heights Ford for service. For sales, there great, but there service is terrible. I'm going to start going to victor ford in wauconda.

 

I've had mine to Nives Riza (where I bought it in orland park), they can suck my #*&@. bad service.

and then I've had mine to fairfield ford (midlothian)for service and they are great to deal with, there a smaller non SVT dealership but they get the job done fast and the right way. I think the smaller guys are better to deal with.
