Question What is the worst ticket you have gotten with the Lightning?

Something different...

What have you done with your l that got you (or would have got you) the worst ticket?

I personally haven't been pulled over in the 14 months I've owned the truck.... not saying that I haven't deserved to have my license yanked at least 30 times or so, I just haven't gotten caught. (knocking on the pressed wood that the cheap compurter desk is made out of.

What is the most socially unacceptable thing you folks have done with the L...... So far!?

Unhappy

the 1st and only ticket in the lightning was a trifecta: speeding/reckless/racing, plead guilty to being a dumbass = $50.00, and no info to insurance if clean for 6mo.

Got one THE DAY I got my 2000. A no turn on red was the sin. I was in a hurry to make a meeting and fell right into a trap. There was a local kojak just waiting for me. $80 and two points. Insurance went up right along with it.

70 in a 45 while trying out a new mod. First ticket in 26 years. Oh well that works out to $5.46 a year for all the times over that period I didn't get caught.

I had a 95 before my 01 and it had a Vortech with a 70 shot of nitrous and I was doing some recording using a dealerships labtop device that had a hand held joystick used for making recordings so that I could send them to Auburn Performance to make corrections to my chip, Well to make a long story short..

I got a 112 in a 50, The Highway patrol didnt like that one. They impounded my truck, and gave me some crazy tickets including-endangering life and property of others, 112/50, exibition of speed, and the tried attemted suicide. I also got to spend the evening in jail... I hope I have better luck with the 01. --Neil

haven't received a ticket YET (knock, knock)
However, the most "socially unacceptable" deed thus far was this:

In attempt to locate a good photo shoot spot post-Zaino, I pulled into my favorite weekend "testing" industrial park. After snapping many a photo, I did a nice doughnut leaving the empty parking lot. Upon completion, the signage on the building for which I defaced their parking lot read U.S. CUSTOMS... Henceforth, a rather loud DOOOOOH! followed by a long period of laughter ensued. True story.

Back to Canada with you or something!!!

97 in a 65, Florida Turnpike just south of Jupiter, 8:30PM. Nice Trooper, said "didn't you see me? All you had to do is slow down." Told me >100 go directly to jail. Fine $275, good lawayer, no points, noo school. 15 minutes earlier I was 120+, glad he didn't get me then.

I just fought a 84 in 55 to a 69 in 55 last week.

Got a "unclear plates" for a different speeding incident.

only gotten pulled over once for punching it all the way through a left hand turn on a green light. Just to my luck a cop pulled up on the right right as I gunned it. Could have run and gotten away easy but just pulled over and waited about 20 seconds for him to get to me. No ticket, just a warning.

The worst thing I have ever done is 135 in a 55 merging from I-205 to I-5 in Tualatin.....

Got my first and only when playing with a R/T gettin on the highway. There is a pawn shop on top of the bridge that always sets the Valentine off, but this time it masked the HiPo under the bridge. He got me at 86, well before I let out of it. He pulled me over, we BSed about the truck and how slow his car was: he did at least. Then he called it in and asked how fast I had gotten her. Told him 140 once and he lol, then wrote me for a 76 in a 65 instead of the 86. Saved me over $100 on it.

I think that red it just a glutton for police ticket punishment, God Bless the Valentine 1.

Eric

The only ticket in my life up to now: Wife was pregnant, phone me at work to come home and take her to the hospital. I did 180 km/h(~110 mph) in a silly 60km/h zone(~45 mph) on the highway. He let me go with a Can$150 ticket and a warning. I was convincing...
