I have just done a complete dynamat of my entire cabin including full doors. I did not see "ready wiring" for the mirors. It may be contained in the harness but nothing obvious. I have a 2000 but in my opinion the signal mirrors are just too discrete to be worth the time and money. If it was a Mercedes type, then it may be worth the effort.

Jkstang78,
I installed the 01's on my 99.
They just plug right into the wiring harness thats in the door already.
I personally haven't had any problems with vibration.

I believe that most of the new trucks have the wiring. Usually an upgrade, because I know several 99-00 trucks that do not have them. I love mine, but it would be so much cheaper to replace them if I didn't.

I have checked to see if they are locked out, but of course it is my luck that it didn't fix it. Any other ideas?

Where did you buy your mirrors at, and do they have the signal in the mirror or on the painted cap on the back of the housing?
