Sal,
You may answer my own question when you post your findings. But just in case. Can the problem be fixed after market or will it have to come from Ford (IE: block)?

My engine was replaced due to "cracked block", #2 & #6 had low compression. Does this feed the fire Sal?

Hello..

I had all but forgotten about my piston slap.. I guess I just got used to hearing it.. I am taking my 99 in for a new intercooler next week.. I am now wondering if I should mention the piston slap and see if they want to just replace the entire motor.. Hmmm..

I am currious just how many L motors have been replaced under warranty..
