1999 Lightning ?

I am going to be looking at a 99 L and I am new to them so I was wondering if there are any known problem areas to look for. I don't know much about the truck in general like mileage or any of those details and the ad was very vaque. Any idea on a going price, I know it will depend alot on condidtion and mileage but a range would be great and any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Since you raced it with us and we have photographic evidence, yes

if its from a dealer find out if he washed the engine if so...there might be water down in the plug holes...and then you'll be like me and get to do your first spark plug change the first week you get it check the interooler recall as mentioned b4...check the cruise control recall...if you want to do a visual..open the hood and right in front of the brake fluid res. is a plug..if its plugged in unplug until you know it was done. if you want to know if it was abused..check for rubber on the inside of the fenders. ...to check to see if it was wrecked....depending on color you can look down the side..example..mine its silver if it was wrecked and the whole truck wasnt painted the different color primers would cause the silver to look different shades. test drive... test drive... test drive....also...do a lil burn out...then you'll buy it lol thats what happened to me. hope that helps if you have anymore questions shoot me an email... platinumdragon469@yahoo.com i bought mine use..2000 silver with 106,000 miles..but still runs like a champ. i'm not a know all guy but i do what i can
