Question Rolling bed covers, pics, prices?

I looked through the posts etc. I wonder if anyone knows where the best deals are I like the features of the Retrax since you can lock it in any postion and it is not spring loaded. The roll n' lock looks nice but only stops at 1/2 and full I think and is spring powered. The best prices I have seen is 725 for Roll'n lock and 950 for Retrax! I would also like pics of any covers out there thanks guys!

I want a Retrax. Let me know if you're getting one and we'll work a group deal with them.

I have a pace Edwards roll top cover, and it's been great! It is spring loaded, which makes it really easy to open, but is inconvenient if you want to close it but don't want to lock it (rolls open by itself when driving). I'm looking into modifying it so I can put on something like a small door handle, so that I can just latch it closed, without locking it (Kind of like a cap). It too only locks in two positions, but that can also be modified by cutting my own holes in the sides for the locking bars. Hopefully I'll get these mods done in the next week or two, I'll let you know how they worked out.

I talked to Tim and he said he'd be willing to do the same deal as last year ($850, $100 off regular) as long as we got 4 sales (preferably 5)

So it's felonious and myself. Anyone else interested?

Is the decking on the Retrax quiet? No highway rattles. I heard shipping is high on those too. Like 60 bucks. I looked on Dave's bed cover site? I wonder what deals he would do.. Thanks I will do some looking around!

Anyway I just talked to Fred at http://www.davestonneaucovers.com and he said he would do the cover and tailgate seal for $850 + shipping around $45 drop ship if we ordered 4 or more at once. The only thing is Colorado is closer to Texas than ND. See what you guys want to do I am going to the gym be back on around 7pm. LAter

Mr Apex,

There is a slight rattle at highway speeds but it is only noticeable when the rear slider is open. Subtle clockwise turn of the volume **** fixes it (or slow down....LOL)

$850 included the seals. Also optional drain lines I believe. I'd prefer to buy from the manufactureer so that they'll get more money (and stay in business), but if someone gives us a great deal, I'll go with it.

I agree with you lets get together and order them asap from the manufacturer. My Email is dive1@swbell.net Can't wait to stop worrying about stuff flying out the back or stolen.

Cool

I'm interested in a group buy price for any of the roll tops. I tried to find one a year ago without much success. My F150 is a '00 shortbed flareside.
