I'm booked until the weekend of April 22/23. That weekend, or any thereafter would work for me. It would be like a birthday present as I picked up my L on April 27, 1999.

Cool

April 22/23 is OK for me. It is Easter Sunday, though. It might not work out for some. How about May 6/7?

Any and all are certainly welcome! Well, as long as Peter doesn't bring his Vette!

Why don't we all meet at the Sedona Airport 10:00 AM May 6. I'll arrange space for us on the ramp for a photo shoot. Someone can call SVT and have their reporter and Photog there. How about "Trucking" Magazine or any others? Let's have as many L's as possible!

Peter, you plan the route. Yoda, you plan the stops. Jamie, you plan the entertainment. I'll take care of the Airport space. Who will volunteer to call the magazines and/or press?

How's that for assignments?

I'll call those people that are always looking for UFO's & tell them to be on the look out for some Unidentifyed Flying Objects, in northern Arizona on that day.

Oh, this is sounding very good! I have a friend of mine that got his Jeep into one of the 4 wheeler magazines, I'll get with him about details how to contacts the mags. I'll gladly plan the route. Do we want to do a Saturday run, a Sunday run or a Saturday and Sunday run? (this of course will determine the route)

adp,
let's figure out first whether we are doing a one or two day trip before commiting to the 10:00 at airport. Reason being, I was thinking of us Phoenix boys hitting a good breakfast in Black Canyon City, then up to Prescott, then up to Jerome, and then over to Sedona. I'm don't think we could squeeze all that in and be in Sedona by 10:00.

DonH,
As your daughter lives here in Phoenix, I'm sure you'll make trips on over, outside of one of our road trips. So, when you know you're headin to Phoenix, give us a post and I'm sure we can round up some of us and meet. Head over some Friday evening and we can meet at Firebird International Raceway.

Yoda,
I hope the force will be with us on this trip.

If it was a month earlier, we could have done some of this on the trip

I have told my wife I'll be doing this, but I'm sure it will be an easier sell to make it a one day. Don't care which day, and I will absolutely make it both days if that is what everyone else wants. My favorite place for breakfast in Black Canyon is the 4B's, but I didn't think we would be driving by it. As far as route suggestions I thought we would leave Phoenix, have breakfast in Wickenberg and then head up the Yarnell hill to pick up Zonaman in Prescott, head to Sedona to get adp, then up to Flagstaff, and somehow fit Jerome in there.
