OK, scrap the 10:00 Airport part. But the best place for a photo shoot that can accomodate many trucks is the Sedona Airport.

One or two days is OK with me but it's going to be real hard to get in all of the good stuff in one day.

Prescott to Sedona over Mingus Mountain will take care of Jerome. The Oak Creek Canyon, Flagstaff, Lake Mary road to Payson and back down seems like a must to me. Can all of that be done in a day?

Perhaps end the first day in Sedona, have a Photo Op on Sunday morning then proceed through the canyon and Flag. Folks can make the first day or the second or both. If there is interest in an overnight in Sedona, I'll look for a place at a good rate. The sooner we decide, the better. I'll be there for both!

Let's saddle up!

Cool

The more I think about it, the more I realize I am dreaming to think it can be done in a day. I am totally up for a 2 day trip if everyone else is game.

Ive been laying low in the weeds for about a year now just reading peoples comments.
I purchased a 2000L after seeing a guy,
(I think his name was Joel?) burning up the pavement at Firebird raceway.
I'm coming up on a year of ownership and I have read some of the comments, I'm now ready to participate in a local group and do what I can to get some serious SVT attention.
We live right in the heart of "the SVT Holyland" Bondurants School of performance.
I've spent the last year reading about and speaking with several people about these so called SVT experiences.
Except they only seem to appear back East.

So my question, is this going to happen May 6th?
I work at the Arizona Republic I can't promise anything but I would certainly try to get our automotive guy to pay some attention.

I already took my Lightning up too the North country last April and it was a great trip.
I got some great photos of it at the Grand Canyon.

Let me know if the trip is still happening
Hollywood.

Cool

adp. I am in the process of moving from Houston to Sedona. Hope to be there sometime in the next 12 months, depending on when I sell my house here. I will be out periodically until then. I will try to look you up when I am there. I have been wondering if there would be other L's in the area.

Thumbs up

Well I'll be damned. A 1 year old post has been resurrected from the archives!
Hollywoods Lightning, welcome aboard. How come you've been hiding for a year!? You have probably been seen JoeLightning tearing it up. Well, we did the trip a year ago and it was great. I wrote a post a bit ago to organize a second one, but did not have much reponse, nor have I had time to be following up to continue organizing one. That would be awesome if we could do another and get some newspaper exposure! Keep in touch on the board and we would love to meet you at the track some night.

Don/Peter/Alan

I've been out of state for a week, plus to FFF at Knott's, so this is a late reply to the N AZ trip. I'm in, and still willing to put some people up in Cottonwood if they don't want to do the motel thing. Accomodations wont be much, but the price is right. Alan, maybe pictures a little later in the afternoon? I'm thinking about the colors that play across the red rocks as the sun gets lower...

Things have just been absolutely nuts for me with my full time job and my outside business and all leisurely activities, so right at the moment I'm not able to plan or organize a trip at the moment. I need to get some free time in my schedule before I can commit to anything right now.
