Like Chuck said, it probably helps with tailgaters, this is a little more subtle, but works really well too, thanks Alvin!

Nice guns, this looks like something that I would expect to find on the Tom Bowers boards.

Are those ATF form 4 guns?

I'm sure they are registered NFA weapons. Imagine a cops face if he ever pull this person over.

As mentioned above the vibration from duel .50's would rattle the heck out of the truck. I remember shooting a single .50 cal off of a 5 ton truck in the military and it rocked the whole truck with each burst. Would be interested to see this baby in action.

Wow, BBQ, twin .50's give that NOS "arming" switch some serious new meaning!

Would also love to get me a couple of those vintage "Police Interceptor" badges. Pretty kool! Are they available anywhere?

Isn't it interesting how many of us are into the same sort of things (e.g. hot rods, motorcycles, guns, knives, boats, planes, etc.)? A great group.

Mike

I think he stole the idea.
These "modifications" were very common in Lebanon, Somalia, Bosnia and several Latin American "Democracies" from the eighties to the present.
I have photos of them mounted on Fords, Chevvies, Toyotas, Nissans and Dodges from these areas.
Sort of a poor man's Fast Attack Vehicle.
Usually mounted with Soviet weaponry such as twin 23mm AA guns or quadruple 12.7mm machine guns also of the AA persuasion.
I have read they are very intimidating when used against snipers in wooden buildings!!

On the lighter side, I would NOT like to be stopped by a State Trooper with that stuff in my bed. Looks cewl, but that is a perfect excuse for the Trooper to shoot first and ask questions later.

At least he was smart enough to block his license plate #.
