Thumbs up SuperStallions at Cecil County

Hey guys, first off I would like to personally thank Jim Vaccaro and Bill Tumas for making this event. I know Jim personally and he is a super great guy, and always takes care of us. Everybody had a great time. The usual Cecil boys were there; Johnny, Spiro, and Rick, along with myself, JD and wife, Brian K and wife, George and Harvey from NJ and a bunch of other great people. Special thanks to Johnnys wife Sue, who always has lunch ready for all who need

It was a fun day racing as well. Air wasn't the fabulous Cecil air that most have heard of. Temp around 65, RH was 45% and BP was 30.5 avg. JD and wife Emily were running 13.2s all day with just PSP chip and filter and some Nittos. The truck ran great all day, and Emily did a nice job in her first Lightning racing outing. Johnny and I had a few really good races and my truck was running decent with some 12.65s even though the motor is sick, but I was still happy to race it. Spiro and I were playing a bit with his truck , trying different N20 shots and programs. Spiro started off the day with a 12.25@113 and his best pass was a whopping 11.94@115!!! Congrats to all who had new bests today.

Once agian, I'd like to thank the Superstallions staff, for putting on a great day of fun.

Was Spiro in street trim or was his truck on a diet fo the 11. I watched HIGHRISK do an 11.8x with a pretty empty cab. Just curious

No Hitch, spare, and no tailgate...otherwise full weight. If I were to guess (because the scales were not open) I would say just over 4700 Seats and Center console were left in the truck.
Today was still a learning experience for me using the Nitrous....maybe next time I will strip down

Thanks to everyone that was at Cecil today....

A big thanks to Bill T for having us. Its always a blast when you can get in a good 12 runs at your leisure....

Thanks to Sal, JL, Rick and Spiro for helping me out and answering some questions. Next time, I'll pack the jack..

I ran my best times today as well..

13.24 @ 103.41. Full street trim, including pro-sport cover. Just JL flipchip, 100 octane, JL ram air and MT Streets. Previous best was 13.28 without the cover on...

My goal is to pop 12's consistently with the lid and full street trim. I have a feeling that the pulley is the answer.

It was good to see everyone again and I'm glad that car didn't come over the fence and take out a couple L's.....

later
Spiro is the man.......

A big thanks to all for the help. It was a great day the truck was real consistent and we had a blast! Thanks for the help Brian, Sal, Spiro, especially when the chip came loose when Emily was in the middle of her run! Nothing like loosing your powersteering and power brakes at 80 mph.

I am so glad that I made it to the Superstallions event!! I had an absolute blast!! There really is something to be said about the Lightning community. The fact that you can get together with fellow owners that for the most part you really don't even know and feel totally comfortable around them amazes me.

I made my first pass ever down the 1/4 mile there and now I really know I'm hooked!!

Just want to thank everyone for being such a help and being so friendly!!
