I can see where you are saying that things have changed for you. As the date I joined indicates I am a newbie to this site/BB. Since I have found this site I have been reading a lot of great posts from everyone and spend all my internet time here at this site reading posts just like yours. I wish to think that all you veterans would "take me under your wings" and teach me the wisdom of all that you have learned. (hope that is not to corny". With anything like this you will have a few bad comers but for the most part I think most of the people on here are honest, hard working people, with the same subject on mind (trucks) and as long as everyone tries to show a little respect and act mature we can all get along just fine. In my opinion arguments are just two people expressing different views.

KY,
You're right, the only time that an argument or a disagreement isn't called for is when there isn't a point to argue. In this case I think if I admit to being spoiled whats the point? As a 99 owner you can ask several of the new owners. If I have an answer for ya and ya come to me direct, I will certainly give it to ya. I'm not above the new owners by any means. It's just easy to get lost in the shuffle with all the same questions being asked and all of the insults being thrown from a bunch of people who have never met. People are awful brave from behind a computer.
Hi
Thanks, but if I hadn't hit her...ya know. I still feel bad. It was hard to hear. I even woke up and thought, maybe she would be better and I could go get her and bring her home for a couple of days.

Am I an old timer then ?

That would explain my soppy feelings over the sad ending of your story, and the .830 reaction time this afternoon...

So now we a going to lose another great member because of childlike posting? CA, please hang out, I like hearing of your stories of "boys" trying to impress you with their 10 sec TA's etc. It's also nice to have a female point of view on our topics. If my 12 year old girl becomes a gear-head like you, I can die a happy man. Sorry for the abuse you had to encounter, when telling of your meeting of the little furry animal. Later from the Gator

CA, I kind of look forward to seeing your "off topic" posts as they show a different side to the owners of these fine trucks!! I don't want to see you do what MB did and leave the board or feel you have to post in a sterile (politically correct) way. Postings like yours are what gives this site and specifically this forum its great personality

I believe that Steve and Doug are both correct....don't give the trolls what they are looking for....they will get what they have coming in due time. (Thanks for illustrating my point"Larry" )

CA,

I agree with you in that the "norms" and attitudes on this forum have changed in the last four months or so and hope this is only a phase. Steve has many other items on his plate than to monitor his BIGGEST forum and Doug is doing a great job of moderating.

Don't let the a couple individuals spoil the fun or keep you from posting.
