Just got home with the new L. That truck is freaking awesome I never dreamed a p/u could accelerate/handle like this thing. $27,600 out the door. I couldn't get a straight answer from the dealer. What octane should I be running? I thought 92 but the dealer said 87 is fine.

That price is unreal before TT&L it must have been like 25K on a truck that invoices for 28K. The manual reccomends 91 octane or better using the (R+M)2 method. Congrats on getting the deal of a lifetime..

I forgot to mention that I work for Ford so I purchased the truck "A" Plan. I picked I good time to buy a 10 MPG truck with gas rising to 3$/gallon

first i wouldnt go back to that dealer, you need at least 91 grade or better. do not use 87, under any conditions.
