Straight Pipes "Installed"
Well, actually should read muffler removed. Anyway, not sure if I like the sound yet or not. At idle and part throttle, it sounds pretty cool, kind of a deep rumble. However, when I go WOT, it does sound like an old truck with 12" glasspacks on it. I'll drive it a while and see.

Here's a pic of the Dynomax Bullet race muffers I had. They were straight through and sounded absolutely wicked on startup, idle and WOT. But at a certain rpm, they sounded "blappy", and I didn't like it. Plus, they sounded like a bass drum in the cab at 40-65 mph driving a steady speed. The WOT and idle speed was beautiful, but anything in between on a 25 mile commute was more than I could stand. I even rolled the windows down to break up the pulsations of the exhaust in the cab in 20* weather. I decided the Magnaflow was the way to go....

Yeah you won't like the straight *blurrbbb* will be the factor and if you kept your cats they will pop more for some reason probably getting hotter. A nice clean louder sound is better than a really raspy LOUD sound. The loud will get old after a while too try a 3" 1 chamber flowmaster on a 5.0L for a week or so. Nasty
