I know this is going to sound bad but do you fill the tranny by putting the fluid in the dip stick hole?

If you open up the gas cap you can add the tranny fuild in there. It will know where to go.

 

If to think this is bad...I knew a guy that put a quart of oil in his truck and when he checked the dipstick found it was over-filled. He was putting the dipstick back in and wiping it off over and over again to get the oil out. I saw him doing it for a few hours one day.

 

RT was kidding of course....

I once saw a couple guys try to reduce the mileage on a car's odometer by jacking it up and running it in reverse. Nice car, too: '60 Ferrari 250 GT, red. Sweet.

John yes thats where you fill it up from. Just get a funnel and pour away.

if you did shift kit check fluid level 6 1/2qts tranny holds 15.9 pts which includes
t. converter.
if you didn't drain t. converter about 7qts

no need to buy a case like i did
