Talking anyone?

just wonderin if anyone has lost a stop light race with their lightning yet...i doubt it...but just a question...

i test drove one a few weeks ago and punched it and said to myself...this is not going to loose to anything on the streets...and i have a 93 cobra with exhaust mods and intake...and i am hard pressed to think that the cobra will be able to keep up...maybe off the line..but this truck has SERIOUS pulling power...cant wait till it comes in and we go to pick it up...love the boards here guys...good stuff being talked about...you all seem to be very educated drivers...i like that!

hope to see you on the streets maybe? do you all plan on having meets like we do over in the contour club?

let me know...i think it would be fun...ttyl fellas...

Talking

I don't care what you are driving, eventually you will encounter someone who can beat you. With a well prepared Lightning that doesn't happen very often, though.

Thumbs up

Yeah those pesky Vipers, only car that I was really embarassed by. There are so many sleepers out there that you just never know what's pulling up beside you, but most of the time you won't have a problem.

The biggest issue you'll have is the Maxima's and BMW 318's wanting to waste your gas...

Exclamation

I tried a 911 Turbo with 4-wheel drive.

I could read the turbo letters under the spoiler before we were over the intersection...

I came across a sleeper. A '93 Eagle talon that looks like it had only been driven by high school kids. Stock rims, a dent here and there. Low and behold he ran a 12.04 at the track.

As far as street light racing, without my mods I rarely lose, and thats due to traction.

PS mods are 3 50 lb. sandbags.

Viper. Tried it, even though I knew I would loose. It probably looked cool for the people waiting at the intersection. Got beat like a red-headed step-child.
