hey guys i got a quick question for ya, what kind of gas mileage does a completely stock 99+ lightning get? my best friend is considering buying a used 99 Lightning and he was wondering what mpg they get. also, is $25,000 a decent price for a 99 lightning with 9,000 miles? thanks for your help...

Muffler? I don't need no stinkin' muffler!

 

It depends (on how well you manage to keep your WOT's to a minimum), but I average in mixed highway/city about 12-14MPG.

Best I've done is 17 MPG on an 400 mile highway trip.

 

A. You don't buy these trucks for gas mileage, but I see where you are coming from. (I asked the same question) Driving back and forth to class everday on a congested city road, I get 11-12 mpg.
B. Sounds like a great price to me.
