Cool

Most of the cone filter intakes seem to give about 10-12hp gain. Much louder, Cool if you like to hear that howl

Airraid adds AT LEAST 15 hp. The Performance Products rep told me it adds 18 hp and is the best cone filter injection for Lightnings: all this, and he has no affiliation with Airraid.

I would do a back flip, and ***** in my pants if airraid made 3 hp more with the hood down.

Those are FD numbers?

I would go with Lightning forces billet adapter, 12 inch S&B, fender to filter inlet tube, and hihg flow air sensor. This way it is an open element with no restriction from a box. Email me at BlkDeath01@aol.com and I will give you a price and answer any questions you have.

If you decide to go Airaid, check my classified ad for my Airraid with the better filter element by Hypertech (or whatever the group buy was), and my Superchip for 99 L.

The figures of 10-12hp were what my truck achieved at the wheels here at 5000 feet. Tested with a G-Tech Pro.

I tested basically the exact same thing on a dyno and got 0 hp.

0 hp no chip, just air cleaner and a stock 99 Lightning.
