Air Fuel Ratio Wideband 02 Sensor?

I was thinking of getting a Wideband autometer digital gauge that come with the wideband o2 sensor as a kit. Does the wideband o2 sensor take the place of the original one or does the bung have to be weld it in a different location?

HI!... It is separate from your stock 02 sensors. You must drill and weld on a separate bung just for the wideband 02 sensor. Make sure to weld the bung at no less than 10 - 2 o'clock. Any lower than that and the wideband can get covered in moisture in the exhaust tubing and shortens it's life dramatically. A copper or aluminum heatsink under the wideband also helps in keeping the sensor from overheating and giving inaccurate readings. You can build your own heatsink from thin copper or aluminum. 4" x 4" .
