Post intercooler

Since I bought my L used about 3 months ago I avidly check my intercooler levels. Question I park in garage reletivly same place each day one how long after engine stops before it should be check does it take time for it to drain back or anything? Also does any one notice a change of one or two centimeters either way some times and is that afected by temp or anything else?? Also does any of it ever evaporate or burn off? Thanks sorry about the long post. Just want to protect my investment.

Best time to check it would be when the engine is 100% cool, say first thing in the morning ,before you start it. Anti-freeze expands when heated up, so try to be consistant about when you check the level in the tank.

Yep, first thing in the morning, get a "Sharpie" pen and mark it. Then check it in the morning every now and then and see what you've got. Mine hasn't moved in over a year after doing that. It doesn't "evaporate".
