Cool

It should be against the law, to spend that much money on your Lightning and not do any performance mods.

What makes it rice? The wheels and headlight covers may look "ricey," but you have got to admit that chopped top is nice. It really gives it a nice street rod look.
And how many people on this board have lowered L's? So thats not ricer-ish. Bedcover, hood?
IMHO, I think its pretty neat. But then again, I tihnk almost anything w/ a chopped top looks cool.

I guarantee it does not do “low, 13 second quarter-mile times” in it’s current configuration, if it ever did. Maybe those are G-Tech times .

BTW, “Check this out” is pretty funny when this has been covered several times, including this one https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/008489.html back in Jan 2001. It’s kind of like saying, “wow, did you know the Lightning was supercharged too”.

I can't believe some of you, and how you throw that R word around... I'm not much of a car nut, but even I know that chopped tops are about as old-school custom street rod as it gets, not an Asian import thing. In fact, I've never even SEEN an Asian import with a chopped top. If you feel the need for some reason to pidgeon-hole it into an ethnic group, you might try Latino.

I say "Let'em destroy their L", it just keeps the value on ours UP. But it still hurt to see it topless. Ouch.

I think it looks pretty cool. I'm not one for the fake-projector-beam headlights (I'd prefer real ones), but that truck looks pretty sweet.

Nice job on the chop...you know Jason Brown's 7sec lightning is chopped too right? He's far from rice.

I guess I am just a traditionalist, and it's my oppinion.
IMHO, I don't like the rims. Yeah, they are street rod 1920's, but I'm not a fan of that era. And the flame paint is not me. And the whole headlight/grill wanna-be Batman thing just isn't working for me.
Just my thinking, and justifying what I said.
