Traded the 2000 friday
Sure is nice to have a nice new Bolt. Took it to Cleveland area this weekend to visit my two sisters and some relatives up from Alabama. Had a black (African American) gent wichever you prefer pull beside, toot his one-note horn, point his finger at the L and give a big thumbsup! A perfect start to a good weekend. The truck is just too new to give an overall impression. Just gotta' love these trucks! BTW, if anyone runs into a used red 2000 bolt with 26,000 miles on a lot in the Downriver area, here are all the details.
1. Has a 4.10 without speedo correction. Actually, the mileage is more close to 23,000.
2. The PCM is bad, in terms of not being able to communicate with it via shop computer. The truck works fine; but, the computer comm port has something wrong with it. It can be replaced under the remaining warranty. I just had zero time to have it fixed.
3. Bed paint on inside sides has had paint rubbed off because of the bedliner I had in it.
4. The tailgate inside got bent pretty good from accidentally letting a very heavy item roll over on it. It's only visible if you look closely.
5. There are no mechanical probs at all. Never had a leaky intercooler or clunk.
