After heads & exhaust were installed we dynoed the L.

w/o a chip 359rwhp
w/JDM S/chip 373rwhp (not specifically tuned)
w/Diablo chip 400rwhp

The tuners equipment, according to him, only worked on a Diablo chip. (he also happens to work for Diablo, so who knows). Thats why the D chip.

I also think, my opinion, any chip tuned to this truck would probably be almost identical. Remember, we all have the same set of variables and the tuners are simply applying their experience and knowledge to these same set of variables. They are all going to be very close.

And no, it can't be a pulley. My shift points are now at 5800rpm, yes the cam does move the power band, so a pulley MIGHT just turn something a LITTLE too fast.

There did not appear to be a boost drop from the stock guage, but common sense, and physics, tells us that there IS a drop in boost. It appears, however, not to be overly significant.

Cool

lg, yes I kept all other mods intact. As reported on another thread, I did go to the track and my best run was a 12.705 107.087.

As I stated earlier, ok, but not where I want to be.

Still working on it.
