GROUP HUG!!

Tolstoy wrote War and Peace, Edwin Starr sang the song, War, which, according to Jerry Seinfeld, was named after the book, and, finally, Rosebud was a sled...

I am not taking chances with my engine.
Blood Enterprizes in Federal Way will be dyno tuning/burning custom chips for Mustangs and Lightnings starting June 1st, so that's where I'll be having mine done.

Redneck Gin & Tonic 94 -

Thought this was an open forum for people to express their opinions. Sorry if mine don't agree with you. I would think if he has a problem with what I said the he should talk to me not you. I'm actually glad JL is in the business because we all eventually benefit.

As soon as you own this board and the internet I'll start giving a crap about your opinion.

Whew

I thought I was gonna have to kick some butt on this one....

Keep in mind that peoples fondness for chip brands is just like the old Ford vs Chevy arguments. A lot of it is based on emotion and history rather than results. "I like Chevy because it is all my Family has ever driven " or "My Dad had a 196x Ford XXXXX and we used to drive down to the shore...."

Lets try to keep the emotion out of this one if possible..

Thanks in advance
Doug

I misspoke when I included the PSP chip in the mix. That uses Mike Wesley software. The rest of them all use the same software, tuned by the same guy (Patrick Sturgill, ex-Superchip employee, now employed by Diablo). It is a joke if you think you are getting something better from one vendor over another.

I tried to buy a Diablo chip to replace my Superchip and I was told that Patrick did both chips so I was wasting my money to replace it (I was told this by an honest dealer not out to rip me off). There are far too many snake oil salesmen involved in the chip business. They will tell you anything to get you to part with your hard earned dollar$.

Just so you know I am not chosing sides, I own a Wesley chip, two Superchips and one Inject Tech chip (also Superchip-based). Like I said, I tried to buy a Diablo but they wouldn't sell it to me as it wasn't going to do anything different from what I already had in a Superchip.

Good point Silver the Moderator. I never thought of it like Ford vs. Chevy. Maybe because I am a recent convert.

Sorry for the jab Red Gen; you must be a good guy 'cause you seem loyal and you own a Gen I and a Gen II.

The point of a head-to-head is it gives us a one more piece of info to consider. People are right that many owner will only use their ***-o-meter, and, different vehicles will yield different results.
