Cool How fast have you gone in your L?

I just got back yesterday from being at my parents place in Oklahoma for the break. On the way back, I was on this two lane highway in the backroads somewhere, and i decided to see if i could get 'er up to 120. Once i saw i had a long straight stretch with no one in sight, i nailed it from about 50. Well, it made it to 120, easily. Still had plenty left to go but that was fast enough for me! I love these trucks!

So, how fast have everyone else gone?

Only about 120 also. That was enough for me on a highway.

Not sure how fast I was going since the needle stops at 140, but the M3 in my rearview mirror kept getting smaller....

At Watkins Glen I was regularly hittin 130 on the front and back straights lap after lap, the truck was yawning.

Have cruised at 125-130 late at night on open motorway with very little traffic during the early hours. CC on.

Have nailed it well past 150 (Sat Nav indicated 153) but not for too long.
Brief trips to 140 sometimes again nice quite road with good clear view ahead and no side turns.

Don't beat on the motor otherwise Jim would hang me up by the ears

Yeah but how fast did you get there? You can use very little boost to get to that speed.

I have not a clue here...mine stops @ 100. I wouldn't know, but I counted 15seconds before it dropped below 100. I figured at least 120+ Idea...It was almost tached out with the OD off...3.55 gear

Did it once and it was enough.
