Question Question about mufflers?

I am looking for a muffler with a little more rumble at an idle. I listned to a Borla and that is not the answer. It sounds like the stock muffler at an idle. But I dont want some thing real loud at highway speeds.Any ideas. Thanks. Bob

Bob:

Have you heard an L with straight pipes but retaining the cats.? Basically the muffler is removed.

I heard 2fast4u(Paul's) the other night. What a nice sound. Not too loud. Can't vouch for the hwy. sound, but he said it isn't bad at all.

Just a thought.

If you go straight pipes, you will get a rumble at highway speeds, but I like it. Thats the way us Harley folks are. It "is" a truck anyhoo. Keep on Truckin'.

Hi Bob,

The Dynomax Ultra Flo SS 304 Stainless, looks and sounds nice. I paid $101.00 for the muffler.
