Yo SpeedRacer,
Have them on my 01 SCrew....
Sound nice. not too loud not too soft.
at Idle the are more on the quiet side after initial ignition.
Yet on mid take off, the sound sweet...
At WOT, they sound mean...

Yeah I like them, and their performance gains as well. (IMHO)

I had borla setup on my 2000 F150 5.4, way to quiet for my taste, running straight pipes from the cats back on the 01L. Borla seems pretty pricey too. IMHO

I have the 12" Stainless Borlas w/long tube headers and no cats. It's WAY too loud for my taste. Ordering a Magnaflow this week.

I got the Borla's put on. They sound real good at ideal, and good just ridin, but when you get in WOT they are loud as H**L. Not sure if I am going to like them or not, but I will leave them on there for a while. I don't think you can get much of a perfomace gain out of exhaust unless you go with long tube headers.
