Question Humaseal?

Does anyone know where you can purchase this coating for our computers? Checked with Radio Shack, no dice.
Any help will be appreciated.

If it's the stuff I'm thinking of try a
aircraft supply shop, used it at work but
was for abrasion and solvent resistance
of decals, also there is stuff called finch
made buy crown metro that does the same thing
tho it is very thin and runs.

Never heard of Humaseal but I've used stuff by Thomas&Betts simply called "Red Insulating Varnish". I used it on the ECU for my boat motor. I got it at Eagle, a.k.a. Lowes.

Thumbs up

Humiseal.

Dan, I'm in the heart of silicon valley and have tons of electronics shops around me. I will check them out this weekend and let you know.

Try Ace Electronics on Antoine in Houston. I'm sorry but I don't have the number handy.

Cool

Thanks Guys for the replies.
Just want to be prepared when I go in for my i/c leak-when ever the real fix comes through.
Is the rumor true that there may be a recall in may for our I/Cs??

Conformal coat also does the same thing regarding printed circuit board protection.

Exclamation

I feel this is one of the most,if not the most IMPORTANT threads on this board..I don't remember seeing on the install instructions for the chip ***WARNING***cleaning this connector on your computer may VOID YOUR WARRANTY!!
I was hoping by now one or all of the chip manufactures would have told us how to restore this coating so it could'nt be detected that a chip was installed....
All other aftermarket mods are reversible,
IS THIS ONE ???
