If you have these stored as 1024x768 then you have to open up the original sized image at zing, ie - click on the original thumb, then on the ~640x480 image and that will take you to the original size or full size. From there, use the right click, properties.

You're doing it right, you just haven't got to the full sized image.

(And I hate to try and pat myself on the back, but I believe I took the photos of the 2001's coming off the line. PBGas took last year's photos.)
