Your apology is accepted. As I have stated before I don’t mind spirited conversation, however I don’t think the rest of the members of this board need to see two members directly attacking at each other.

It is my intention to only step in when things have degraded to where there is no value for the members at large. The big reasons this board is so popular are the number of members and the amount of good info on our Special trucks. To promote that I will try to do what I can to make this a friendly place for the exchange of info by as many as possible.

If you or anyone else has any feedback on what we can do together to make sure this board continues to grow and improve send me an email.

FlyingDutchman, I will assume that all of this could have been avoided if you had actually taken me serious. That is who I am. I take GREAT pride in this board as it is unlike no other. We share a true family spirit. We’re not full of BS, and we all love our Lightnings. Rarely do we flame each other. I truly regret that I engaged in this banter, and it will end as long as the misrepresentations are over. I typically only post when I have technical knowledge to share and I hope that I can return to this now.

Silver_2000, Unfortunately I disagree with your ‘moderator’ position in this case. You state: In this case I believe it is of great value to NOT belittle the accomplishments of members like Spiro99SVT, JohnnyLightning, HIGH RISK, and BABolt. These individuals have worked very hard to obtain phenomenal performance from our Lightnings, and I will not stand back and have that smeared by some “new-comer”. I’m not defending or speaking out for these leaders, they’re adults and can take care of themselves. But I am offended when the BS flies for weeks even after its been called to the line. Not everyone knows everything, and there is nothing demeaning about being uneducated. Everyone has to start somewhere. I see it as a opportunity to learn (which is why I visit here so often…. I can’t express how much I have learned in the last two years). And with that I hope we can all learn from this (I think I have) and be honest with each other and ourselves.
