Question Blower problems associated with pulley(s)

Has anyone had or have heard of anyone having problems with the supercharger after installing a pulley? I'm most concerned about blowing the damn thing apart. Upper pulley, lower pulley doesn't matter. I've read everything about over spinning, but haven't actually heard of anyone screwing the supercharger up!

I have heard of a lot of people of reving the charger with the smaller pulleyl, but if you have the chip prgramed for it it should be ok. I friend of mine said is truck was running like 16 pounds of boost, but he had a chip burnt for it, and had no problems

Exactly what kind of truck was it? A Sy or Ty maybe?

I know that it wasn't a G2 lightning, if it was it wasn't doing it for more than about 5 seconds before all hell let go.
