My order was pulled March 16, but right after that it went into "temporary delay" status in production. Does anybody have any news on this and know when I can expect to see a change in this status? Just like the rest of you who have ordered, the waiting is killing me!!!

When I talked to SVT yesterday, they said that they werre pulling a lightning every so often to check fit and finish and it resulted in a week or so delay...

Maybe that's the case?

I was told last week that mine was on "total performance package hold". Just talked to the dealer and I got my build date 4/16/01.
so hopfully I will see it in about a month.
This waiting is killing me, But I know from listening to all you guys and gals it will be worth the wait.

I know for sure Central Ford does, but absolutely DO NOT go there - they want $42460 for theirs! I think Mak Haik does as well, supposedly a couple people have bailed on their orders...

Texan Ford doesn't have anymore. I think someone mentioned that Tommy Vaughn Ford had a few.

Once again I'm probably not being much help but I do know that almost of all of my local dealers here in cinci would consider x-plan pricing. I ordered my 01 on 3/20 for x-plan plus tax and title/tags. The difference between msrp and xplan might be worth a road trip...
