Post Need to locate covering for a sub box? And opinions.

I want to cover my sub boxes, and amp rack with some vinyl. Does anyone know where I can get some? How hard is it to work with?

I have a black carpet in my Lightning and wanted to get everyone’s opinions on what color to cover the boxes and amp rack? Should I cover it in black or grey? You can see the top of my amp rack when the middle seat is folded down. Other then that you really can’t see any of the stereo with the seats in place.

Thanks for any help

John

Spend a few bucks and have a trim shop cover the box. They can cover it with cloth like the seat and use a charcoal vinyl to match the color of the leather.

Maybe a stripe the width of the woofers, in the charcoal.

Vinyl isn't real hard to work with but there are some places it needs to be stitched. If you want something inexpensive go with the carpet (ozite) and you will be able to do that yourself with no problem.

John,

I would cover it with Grey carpet, the kind used on speaker boxes. I had to do my last truck's box in light brown to match the interior and I found what I needed at Wal-mart in the automotive section, it comes in rolls.
