I seem to remember a post regarding the stop leak substance potentially doing a number on your engine.

I put a half bottle of bars leak in my intercooler and my leaking stopped almost instantly. I had it at the dealer for a engine squeeling noise and they replaced my belts.(It's still occasionally happening when I first start the truck for about 5 minutes.) Anyway, the dealer checked out the intercooler for leaks and couldn't find any. It seems like a quick fix that works. If I decide to keep the truck long term I'll get a permanent fix before my warranty goes out.
