Cool New best 1/4 mile e.t.

Did you ever try to drag race between rain
showers? Well, in Oregon we get to do that from time to time. Anyway, second trip to the track this year for the first E.T. points
race and the "old" 2000 really woke up!
Here is the best run.
r/t = .901 (wake up, I know!)
60' = 2.044 F1's, air press. (who knows?)
330' = 5.758
1/8th mile = 8.796 m.p.h = 81.38
1000' 11.426
1/4 mile = 13.660
Temp. 53 f. Absolute Barometer 32.19
The bummer was that this was a third round win and I was on to the next round but the
rain stopped us all. Nuts!! So, not the fastest L out there by any means but I don't
think it is too shabby for a bone stock production truck. (#2750) build date 5/8/00
( crap, I just looked and that was a Monday!) Oh well. The next fastest was a black R/T with slicks that couldn't seem to
get past a 15.10. That's exactly what my 94 Bolt would do. Stay tuned for more updates
and be safe!

Yeah, that's Woodburn all right. I will probably make it out a few more times before
summer hits but the two events I don't miss are the All Ford drags and the Thunder truck
drags. (both in August) I'll post if I'm going and maybe we can turn up a few more Lightnings.

2nd Bolt-
Yep that was me alright. After I saw yours
and went straight out and got one like I said I was going to!!
Also, Woodburn dragstrip sent me a raincheck
for any 2001 event after the rain out last weekend so it's back to the track again soon!

RedVoodoo, Glad I could help! Congrats on the new ride and your 1/4 times! A few of us are going to try to get together at Woodburn on April 29th if you can make it.

Thumbs up

Yes, April 29th!!! Have been clearing the calendar, and tracking radar for the "honeydew" list.... (Well, it's really the "Honey, do..." list.)

Keeping my fingers crossed, as this would be the first time actually on the drag strip for me.

Hope to see you guys there!
