My truck started doing weird things aroun 4000 rpm and above. The truck pulls very hard through most of first and second, but at the top of second and all through third, I have a really bad miss or sputter. Do you think it could be the fuel pump or spark plugs?? I first thought it was the plugs, but I think it pulls too hard in the first two gears. If it was the plugs, I would think it would do it all the time. It now seems like it is in a strain for fuel at 3rd gear. What do you guys think???

Have your dealer test and then change the bad coils...mine runs OK now..hope this helps

This sounds just like the fuel starvation issue I had when the fuel filter clogged in my truck last year. Check the plugs, but if doesn't help, take 10 minutes and replace that filter, it may just save you a world of headaches.

Just went through similar problem. Mine ran fine under any level of acceleration except cruise. When Cruising it would buck/miss. I had a serious plug issue. The dealer changed 2 coil packs which didnt do anything. Once I pulled the plugs and relaced the one with a ~.400 gap.... Now it runs fine.... I would NOT recommend SPLIFIRES&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;
