Humidity Sucks!!!
Well last time out I ran a 13.2 at almost 104 with a so-so shifting tranny(chip). Well I figured I would assault the 12's again tonight,BUT I was sadly mistaken. I've added a electric fan and shift kit since last time out and felt I would be close to a 12.9 this time. I also ran radials last time,13.3 on F1'S,and 13.2 on DR's. I had some brand spankin new ET streets ready to give me some awesome 60 ft times,wrong. First lets start with the ET'S track prep sucked as I ran 2.0's all night,and I would've tried one more time launching at idle only ,but a car broke and I wasn't going to stick around for the clean up. Now the ET and mph,13.6,13.8,13.7,100,99,99 all runs were on the ET's. I was shocked beyond belief. I new the are was crap,but geez these things hate humidity. I have to assume that was all. I was wondering if anyone had problems running the shorter tires as far as power,or times were concerned?? Needless to say I was not pleased,but everyone said their times were way off too,so I have to use that as a plus.

My luck has not been so good lately. Last time out(last Friday) I ran a best of 13.52@101 on F-1s in full street trim. Tonight (slightly better weather)I ran a best of 13.19@102.59 (1.91 60ft)on the MT ET streets.(removed spare & hitch reciever 120lbs) That was my second best time ever, but my trap speed is still down by 2 1/2mph even with less weight. I let my truck cool down (iced intake) for over an hour to get that time. After my truck warmed up I ran 13.30s consistantly all night (5 runs) with one 13.40. All other traps were 101s. I made one pass on f-1s before I left with a 30min cool down and ice and went 13.32@102.7 Still disappointed no 12s!! As you can see my mods are almost identical to your minus the pulley. I was hoping that might put me in the 12 next time out, we will see.

Actually I don't have the pulley yet,I just went ahead and added it to my sig because I knew I would(maybe geez). I just didn't realize how humidity and the dew point would hurt performance. Here's the numbers: Dewpoint 50, barm. 29.91, humidity 96,and air none or so it seemed. My real concern was the tires hurting me even though they are stickier? I just remember reading that some people had problems running the shorter tires. We'll try it again next weekend though.
TwinTurbo: your right when you say these trucks hate humidity!and Heat!these trucks love cold air thats why i have the powercooler. believe me it works!
