Post 2001 Dyno Results

My first ever dyno-run, here are the results for my '01 L.

I might have been able to do a bit better because I only have 1400 miles on the bone-stock engine (it's not fully broken in yet), and I didn't kick down as hard as I could/should have.

That's my truck on the dyno.

Good numbers. Definitely more power than a stock '99-00.

If you'd kicked it down a bit quicker, you'd see more peak TQ, but your HP will be the same as it occurs way after the fact.

That's correct (I didn't punch it as well as I could have), I could have done another run, but there were other guys waiting to go.

The beast sounded like a bloody cruise missile though!

Holy ****! Thats awesome! Are most Lightning's way underrated from the factory? Even w/ the upped HP rating of 380, thats still way less then you made.
Assuming only a 20% loss through the drivetrain (and we all know an auto. usually loses more then 20%,) your HP at the crank would be:
HP: 406.2
Torque: 478.3

I am so stoaked about my Lightning now!

These figures have also take barometric conditions and temperature into consideration.

I had a blast out there and saw about 7 other Lightnings -- all at once!
